The followers of Buddhism are called
Buddhists and they started around 486 - 566
B.C. in India. Buddhists believe in the four noble truths which are: suffering, suffering has an origin, suffering can crease, and there is a path out of suffering. In the this religion there is no god or goddess which also means there is no set place where they worship. The sacred book of Buddhism is called the Tipitaka. Buddhists also believe in reincarnation and what you did in the first life affects the next life. A past leader is Siddhartha. Buddhists do not celebrate anything because there is no god. One division of Buddhism is Therevada which means close to teachings of Buddha Sri, Lanka, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Mynmar.
