Hinduism
The followers of Hinduism are called Hindus. Hinduism started in India about 4,000 years ago. The Hindus believe that the universe undergoes cycles of creation, preservation and dissolution. They are many gods in Hinduism, and they worship in a building called Mandir. Their sacred book is called scripture and in the after life there is reincarnation forward if you have been good and reincarnation backward if you have been bad. There are Shankaracharya Peetha and their heads are called Shankaracharya in memory of a great philosophe Adi Shankaracharya and they are like leaders in Hinduism. One festival the Hindus celebrate is Diwali which is the Festival of Lights. There is no divisions in Hinduism because there is so many gods.
