Predictions

Abigail

I believe that during the play Abigail will try to win back John Proctor by any means. Abby will accuse Goody Proctor of being a witch in the hopes of condemning her or locking her up so that she can be with Proctor. She is a teenage girl who will not stop until she gets what she wants.

John Proctor

Based on act one, I believe that Proctor will stay faithful to Goody Proctor for the rest of the play. He made it seem like he is turning his life around and is going to stay true to the bible and all it speaks of. John vowed not to touch Abigail again or else he must cut off his hand. I strongly believe that he will keep up his loyalty to both his religion and his wife.
