By Robert Frost
Fire and Ice
Fire and Ice is a poem by Robert Frost. I love the slightly morbid mood of the poem, and the choppy, yet smooth feel. It is very rythmic. The comparisons of fire to desire and ice to hate are very apt. Frost uses epistrophe by ending most of the lines with fire or ice. The poem's lines rhyme, but there is no specific pattern.
