Fog
By Carl Sandburg
Fog by Carl Sandburg is a simple, yet beautiful poem. I love it because Sandburg manages to characterize the fog in a unique way; as a cat looking briefly over the city. He does not have a rhyme scheme, not any alliteration, assonance, or religion, but his use of personification is admirable. The poem is as ephemeral and beautiful as fog.
