Plate Boundary and Features

The effects plate boundaries and features have on each other.

Convergent boundaries create mountain ranges when the plates run into each other. If one plate goes under the other then a ocean trench can form.

Divergent boundaries create mid-ocean ridges by the spreading of the sea floor. Magma comes up from the cracks to create this feature.

Transform boundaries cause earthquakes to occur. They don't create anything because it is just two plates sliding in different directions.

Diagram of all the types of plate boundaries.
