Next Venus told her to fill a flask with the water from the river styx and only something that can fly can get it. So an eagle took the flask and filled it. Then Venus told Psyche to go to Persephone (Proserpine) and have her put some of her beauty in a box, she needed if because she was worn out from nursing her son. Psyche took the box and headed on the path to the underworld. She gave a penny to Charon the ferryman, and crossed the river Styx. Then she gave cake to Cerberus who let her pass through the door. Persephone helped her and did this for Venus. Psyche was curious though and wanted to see the beauty in the box. This knocked her out and Cupid woke her up. He carried her away and called a council of the gods. He asked permission for their marriage and were formally married. They all pretty much live happily ever after. Love and the Soul would never be broken.
