Controlling piracy

Piracy is in control over many ports surrounding Somalia and much of the western coast of Africa. Supranational organizations such as the UN and NATO have deployed patrols in the most affected areas, but this is nit enough.

Piracy spans over hundreds of miles of ocean, and because if this it is very hard to control and protect such a large area. Even if a ship receives a stress signal, by the time patrols arrive it is often too late. Somalia and much of the works has been challenges by how to prevent these pirate attacks. Most people say to deploy more patrols. This will not and has not worked. For the past 10 years, we gave been sending more and more patrols out that have had very little effect. We need a new solution, and we need one fast.
