• create a center section from front hairline to nape
• spray each section with water, taking horizontal blockings starting at the front hairline
• evenly comb hair in the blocking through index and middle fingers
• place first end paper on the underside of the midlengths of the blocking
• make a sandwich with another end paper on top of the previous one
• wrap hair around rod and secure into place
• apply a series of rods in this fashion working towards the crown and continue down the center section to the nape
• take horizontal subsections and start working down the side sections
• wrap blockings vertically along the face
• once all hair is wrapped, apply protective cream along hairline and cover with cotton
• lightly mist hair if it is dry
• beginning at crown and working towards nape, saturate curls with solution using an applicator bottle
• apply to the top and middle and saturate each rod
• standard processing is 20 minutes, check the test curl every 5 minutes
• rinse with warm water at shampoo bowl
• blot curls with towel to remove moisture
• use an applicator bottle to apply neutralizing solution starting at front hairline and moving towards nape; saturate hair and let sit for 5 minutes
• rinse neutralizing solution with luke warm water
• remove rods and condition with a light conditioner
