~Brahma is the creator
~Vishu is the preserver
~Shiva is the destroyer
~Other gods are believed to be reincarnates of these
~All make Brahma
-Holy text=Vedas, root of their belief and Upanishads
-No head of religion, but do have temples
-Believe in the Caste System (on next slide)
-Goal=break out of the caste system=Moksha
~To receive Moksha, must receive dharma
~With dharma, karma moves you through the caste system
-Non violence and do not eat beef
