The dry spell that occurs in the Savannah causes many streams and rivers to dry up. The result of this is that there is less water for the organisms to drink and this causes competition.

Forest Fires
The forest fires that occur during the dry season and some caused by hunters affect the biome. This is because the fires cause the migration of organisms to other places during the dry season.
