The black rhino is not only endangered in the savanna but also one of the most endangered animals in the world. Black rhinos are endangered because poachers kill them for their horns, which are believed to have medicinal value. Since the poachers make a lot of money selling the horns, these animals will continue to be hunted. In the world today there are about 5,000 black rhinos left.
