Gospel of John Pt. 2

-The intention of John's gospel is to confirm the faith of Jesus's disciples on his divinity and "Messianic character"
-This Gospel says "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ Son of God."
-John wished to tell the story of Jesus and his works and make sure that it was not misinterpreted.
-He expresses that the Father and the Son are one in power.
-"Whatever the Father does, the Son also does in a like manner" (Jn 5:19)
