BARK SCORPION

DESCRIPTION- The Bark Scorpion can range in size from 2 to 3 inches. depends on where they are located. They are a very light color so that they blend in well to the various desert elements. They have a very long tail and limbs. Like all Scorpions they have an exoskeleton that they will shed several times called molting.

ADAPTATION- Sensory organs called setae hair-like projections) make shrill hiss by rubbing body against each other

HABITAT- Mexico,Flordia, South Texas and Arizona

INTERESTING FACT- They have 8 jointed legs and a pair of pedipalps that are use for grasping prey and sensing.
