Colombian Guerrilla Groups

-Today, the Colombian conflict is still a triangulated war between guerrilla groups, paramilitaries, and government forces
-The strongest guerrilla groups are the ELN (National Liberation Army) and FARC (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia)
-Both of these guerrilla groups are very Left-Wing (Liberal), and some are even fighting for Communism in Colombia
-Currently, FARC controls about 40% of all Colombian land
-Reported to be around 13,800 members of FARC
-Both FARC and the ELN have been labeled as terrorist groups by the U.S.
