"Since 2004 the U.S. government has reportedly been concerned about the safety of Pakistani nuclear facilities and weapons" (Warrick, 1) The United States government has made it one of their top priorities to keep Pakistan's nuclear weapons out of terrorists' hands. Several elite units have been trained to retain nuclear materials if they were to be stolen by a terrorist group. Many believe that people within the Pakistan security may not be who they say they are. Due to the lack of uncertainty, the United States must make Pakistan one of their top priorities when trying to control terrorism.
