Years passed and one day Prophet Musa and his wife were on the way to Egypt on a severe winter night. They had lost their way and were freezing. Prophet Musa saw a fire in the distance and thought maybe he could get some to keep him and his wife warm. He went toward it.

The Tree On Fire

When he reached the fire he was it was coming from a green tree and no one was near. He was surprised and suddenly heard a voice say "O Musa I am your Lord!" Some say he became frightened and fainted and when he regained consciousness and Allah spoke to him.
