A producer is something that gets their energy from sunlight for example plants. If we lost all the plants in the world we would die because all energy starts from the sun then into producers and so on.

Consumers are organisms that get their energy from other livening organisms. Like humans and other animals. If we lost all consumers their would be only plants on earth.

Decomposers are organisms that get their energy from dead organisms. Such as fungi. If we lost decomposers their would be dead organisms everywhere and it would ruin the animals habitats.

Producers, consumers, and decomposers.
