In Ned Kelly's time, not everyone was treated as an equal. Poor Irish had police on their backs 24/7 for petty crimes. Police were getting bribed by the rich to put someone to jail that was either annoying and they didn't like, for only a few hundred dollars. He was born to a poor family and hated the way he and his family was treated, he was disliked from the moment he was born because his father was already disliked by the police. Life in those days was unfair and that is what Ned Kelly wanted to change. Even though Ned Kelly didn't have an impact on the law back then or now, the law has changed now and everyone is treated as an equal. in the eyes of the law you are innocent until you are proven guilty.
