Terms used in Titrimetry

Equivalence Point-this is where the titration has reacted stoichiometrically reacted with the titrand

End Point-the equivalence point is the ideal end of the titration but what we typically measure is the end point i.e the point at which the titration has been stopped by the operator, when some physical property of the solution is observed.

Titration error- this is the difference between the end and equivalence point.It can be estimated by performing a blank titration.
