Generlizations

Most people in the Bamara ethnic group are Muslims but they still practice their traditional belifs. For example they pray for the good of the Jesus film among themselves.

They believe in ancestral spirits that take form in animals or vegetables so they must be part animism. For example they pray for God to take the spiritual soil and allow to create vegetables for them to eat.

The eldest member of the village acts as the "middle man" between the living and the dead so he must be the priest.
