F. Scott's most profound effect on another writer is undoubtedly Zelda Fitzgerald. They may have fought over material, but each supported the other throughout the marriage (Prigozy 5).
Fitzgerald, being consistently published in magazines, received a great deal of fan mail. He gave literary advice to many authors, including Ring Lardner, Ernest Hemingway, and Thomas Wolfe (Mangum 954).
