Zeus, the God of the Sky, was Endymion's father. When Selene came to him to ask for Endymion to never age, Zeus placed his own son into an eternal slumber.

Helios, the God of the Sun, was Selene's brother. He rode in a golden chariot, which is either seen as the sun itself or as guiding the sun behind it.

Eos, the Goddess of Dawn, is Selene's sister. She is often portrayed as either riding a chariot, like her siblings, or as having wings of her own.
