Temperature range:The swamps temperature range is dependent on several things, namely the location and the elevation. Many swamps found in the southeast have a median temperature range of around 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Swamps found in Florida and in Central and South America are much warmer and humid. The average median temperature of these swamps is in the 80 degree range. The tree cover found in the swamp helps to keep the temperature down somewhat by blocking out some of the sun's rays.
