Aristotelian Ethics
In Aristotle's ideas we focus on the ethics surrounding the human life.
Aristotle argued that the telos (goal) of a human being is happiness (eudimonia).
Aristotle says the only was to achieve eudimonia is thought a virtuous life.
To do this you must avoid the extreme that is more opposed to the mean.
In this situation there are two decisions, to stay true to your motto and lower waste emissions or cheap out and ignore the expansion, therefore going against your own word.
The decision that is most opposed to the mean is to go against your word and that is the one you must avoid Through the eyes of Aristotle You would would: follow your motto and add the expansion
