Can be diagnosed during a physical exam, although it may not be obvious.
-Many times the symptoms mimic those if other conditions, so further tests may be taken to rule them out

Treatment depends on the symptoms, they include:
- Meclizine (Antivert)
-Diazepam (Valium)
-Promethazine (Phenergan)
-Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine)
-An antibiotic (rarely)
