Romeo is a young lover, the most known lover of literature. He loves passionately Juliet but at the beginning of the story Romeo is actually in love
with Rosalina. Romeo is the son of Montagues and unlike Juliet is a character which is different to read.
He is beautiful, sensitive and polite, and he is praised even by his enemies. But Romeo isn’t just a passionate lover, but a young idealist and impulsive man, ready to avenge the death of his friend Mercutio. Romeo, sucide and killer, is the symbol of love.
Juliet Capuleti is one of the most famous characters in Shakespeare’s plays. She is an only child in an important family in Verona and she was raised by a nanny, her
confident and keeper.
In this place the shows intelligence and wisdom. She is the principal character of the play because she lets Romeo kiss her, she propose the marriage and she forgives Romeo for the killing of Tybalt. The character of Juliet can’t be explained by rational methods but should be classified in a higher, where, however, the protagonist with their choices. The drawing times to an end to the struggle between the families of the two lovers, whose function is to for the sins of their parents.
