Madrid, Spain

The city is located on the Manzanares River in the centre of both the country and the Community of Madrid. As the capital city of Spain, seat of government, and residence of the Spanish monarch, the current mayor is Ana Botella coming from the People's Party. Madrid also hosts many worldwide political meetings. Madrid may look like a modern city it has preserved the feel and looks of many of its historic neighborhoods and streets.
