Others seek additional help from a neurologist, brain doctor. To diagnosis Parkinson's, the physician does a thorough neurological history and performs an examination. There are no diagnostic tests for Parkinson's disease.

The doctor may observe for a tremor. They'll ask you if you have stiffness in your limbs and neck, or if you can rise from a chair easily. They'll also ask you if you can regain your balance quickly.
