Interactions of caribeans with the Spanish

-Europeans brought a lot of technology to the America’s which aided them in Conquering the natives and the Inca and the Aztec empire.

-One thing that helped the Europeans more than any other were diseases, mainly Smallpox and Measles.

-The first indigenous peoples that the Europeans traded with were the Taino. The Taino mainly traded their cross for -European metals and steel.

-Because of diseases, more than 60 million Taino persons were killed to leave only a couple thousand left.

-The French, English and Dutch took control of a majority of North America while the Spaniards and Portuguese took control of South America.
