Presidents & Vice Presidents

- Unlike Presidential candidates, the Vice President is chosen by the President as his running mate on the election "ticket". This differs from Presidents because a president has to be elected.

- Vice Presidential candidates are selected for their contrasting characteristics to the Presidential candidate. For example, a charismatic strong right winged conservative Presidential candidate would most likely chose a moderate, structural running mate.
