Wild Animal Bites
Wild animal bites should be taken very seriously. Unlike domestic animals, wild animals can not be vaccinated. This makes their bite much more dangerous than a dog or a cat. Wild animals usually flee from humans unless they or their young feel threatened. If you see a baby animal, walk away from it. Even approaching it can cause the mother to feel threatened and attack. If a wild animal does bite you, rush to get medical attention. Wild animals can carry diseases such as rabies, hookworm, and roundworm.
