Many people's houses were destroyed. People were found under buildings and everyone was looking for their lost friends and family. The government were devastated and helpless as many other countries were also hit, Thailand were not the number one priority so they did not get much help from other countries. The hospitals were overloaded with people and the hygiene was not very good.
