What Thailand did to survive and recover from this natural disaster was that they stuck together. The government invested a lot of money to rebuild and many houses are now tsunami proof. But they did not get a lot of help,from the outside world as many other countries had been affected as well. But as Thailand is a place with a lot of tourists there was not a lot of shortage on money and they were able to build new houses
