Habitat/Location

The Great Sooty Owl is located in south eastern Alaska either in the coastal region or mountain region. They live in 10-50 feet tree or in a cave. Often go to crevices or deep caves to sneak upon its prey or hide from an attacker. Found in eucalyptus forest of New Guinea, they may move to a drier forest but, need enough amount for roosting and breeding.
