Babylonian Talmub

Babylon Talmud had references to Jesus in it and acknowledged that Jesus really did exist. In these readings it talks about how a certain yeshu (Jesus) lead the Jews away from true Jewish worship and had disciples that followed him. It also reads that he was hung on the eve of Passover. So if there never had been a man named Jesus how was there a movement that carried his name?
