Why I chose this book

I first got introduced to this book when I was in fourth grade and it was the first book of this difficulty that I had ever read. It changed the types of books I read from then on. I would always look for difficult adventure/fantasy books from then on, I really increased my reading level just because of this book, in fourth grade I went on to set the record for number of books read in a year.

I started reading the book only because I saw the movie trailer and eventually see the movie, even though a lot of people said it was poorly made I loved the movie, it reminded me a lot of LOTR which was my favorite childhood movie so I was instantly a fan
