The Brain

The human brain is divided into three parts:

Fore-brain

Mid-brain

Hind-brain


Fore-brain is made up of telencephalon, largest part of fore-brain, and the diencephalon.


Mid-brain: includes the reticular formation, which involves motor functions.


Hind-brain: includes the cerebellum. This structure is associate with movement, posture and balance.
