Functions of system

Sensory function: nervous system uses its sensory receptors to monitor changes occurring both inside and outside of the body. Those changes are called stimuli and the information gathered it called the sensory input.

Integrative function: the nervous system processes and interprets the sensory inputs and makes decisions about what should our bodies should do at each moment.

Motor function: the nervous system send information to muscles, organs, and glands so they can respond correctly. For example it sends a impulse to your leg and it moves.
