Buddhism was started by Siddhartha Gautuma. Buddhism followers did not believe in the caste system and this affected the government in a negative way. It encouraged self progress so they wanted to make themselves better people. Many laborer and craftsman joined this religion because there was not political or economic desire for the religious leaders to keep the working class in the same system. Trade spread through the trade routes from India to China, Korea and Japan which help spread the religion as well.
