A. Describe the caste system in India and how it affected Indian society.

The caste system was considered a closed system of stratification which means that a person's social status is determined by which caste they are born into.

B. How did the caste system spread to different regions in India.

It was able to spread because the religion of Hinduism adopted the caste system theory and provided a metaphor to why it should be present in society
