Clause 1 (Election)

Members of the HOR are elected every two years

Each state must permit the same person to vote for the US representatives as it permits to vote for the members of the larger house of its own legislative

Members of the HOR must be at least of 25 years of age

Must be an American citizen for 7 years and resident of the state he or she lives in

A representative also has to reside in the district from which he or she is elected
