So 2 years ago I got to spend a week hiking around the Colorado Trail with Mark and he made it a very memorable trip ... Mark put his wants and needs aside to make this trip an enjoyable but challenging experience for Teri , Kathleen and Myself ! Day after Day Mark did the grunt work and studied the map to find the perfect route for us to take . Some days plan A turned into plan B and sometimes C... Mark spent the week with 3 women who liked to sing , snack and snooze , but my favorite memory was him taking me to REI to help me pick out proper underwear for long hikes . Happy 60th Birthday Mark! Next to Billy, I have been on more crazy adventures with you. I have climbed volcanoes in Eucador, been to the jungle there as well, got lost in mountains -- a few times, hung out with your incredible friends, listened to lots of ideas, been flown on many frequent flyer flights, made it a few times on first class, shared books and mostly shared the ways that God has led one crazy evangelical and not so normal Benedictine sister on an amazing journey of living by the Holy Spirit.
