Another stereotype that is portrayed about Muslims is people have the mindset that women who wear veils cannot be stylish. Most people would not think Muslims have fashion just by how they choose to cover themselves. To western countries, veils seem simple and boring but the Muslim fashion industry is currently priced at $96 billion world wide. Muslim women can also wear veils with color and there are different styles of veils they could possibly choose to wear. Mainstream fashion designers have even started delivering their designer lines to major industries. Muslim hijab stores have even reached America because of the flowing long skirts, palazzo pants, and turbans that seem to be somewhat in style this year. Some Muslim women have also been asked by fashion companies to act as promoters and models for different brands. The pictures are models on a runway modeling different fashion types and colors of veils. This proves that not all muslim women are dressed in baggy, loose, ugly, black clothing. Muslim women have more fashion then people portray.
