They traded rice, wheat, barley, corn, iron, salt, pepper, and spices. They got silk and porcelain from China. They got horses and incense from Arabia. They got gold, ivory, and slaves from Africa.

They traded good through the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal, ports of East Africa, and the China seas. Some trade routes were opposites through East Asia, Persia, and Western and Eastern India.
