Mars

- Of all the planets in our Solar System, Mars has a climate most similar to Earth. However, the air on Mars is thin and is equivalent to the atmosphere 55,000 ft above Earth, which is is almost entirely carbon dioxide.

- Like Earth, Mars has seasons. However, the average temperature on Mars is about 80 degrees F. In order to survive, humans would need to build climate controlled synthetic bubbles.

- Mars is about half the size of Earth and is about 45 million miles away from Earth, on average.

- A year on Mars is equivalent to 687 Earth days.

- Although Mars is smaller than Earth, they have the same land mass because a majority of Earth is covered by water.
