The idea of radar was suggested by James Cleck Maxwells. The only way radar could work was because Heihrich Hertz discovered radio waves. If there were no radio waves there would be no radar. Radar was invented in the 1940s by two British researchers J.T. Randall and Henry Boot at the university of Brimingham.
