We still use radar today because we use it for all sorts of things. we use it for telling the weather we use it for fishing ext. The reason we still use radar because it lets us see beyond what humans can see. All of the little bits and pieces of radar that was developed along the way was developed at the university of Brimingham in Great Britain. Radar was probably used most in telling the weather today even no the weather is not correct a lot of the time  but back then it was probably most used in finding airplanes that we're going to attack
