Starting Out
Before we began dissecting our fetal pig, we had a couple of things to check. First, we examined the pig to determine whether it was a male or female. Afterwards, we had to take a look at the eye and determine if it is similar to eyes a human has. In order to do this step, we had to pry apart the sides of the eyes with the probes, and it ended up looking nothing like humans. It was still being developed which explained its blackish grey color. Lastly, we opened the pigs mouth to take a look at the teeth, esophagus, and tongue.
