1931 China flood

Almost 4 million people died it is one of the deadliest floods of the last 100 years. From 1928-1930 there was a drought in china. In the winter of 1930 heavy snow storms were followed by a spring with heavy rains that raised river levels significantly. In 1931 china had 9 cyclones that his the region when only 2 average per year. Most of the flooding accured from the Yangtze River. People died from drowning, starvation, or even typhus.
